Moorea Moisturizer Shea Butter Lotion and Bora Bora Body Polish
South Seas Skin Care
South Seas Skin Care features a line of body care and body bronzing products that are paraben-free and made from natural ingredients, and amid the swirl of snowflakes here in the north country I was fortunate to have the opportunity to try two of their body care products. Here's what I thought.
The Moorea Moisturizer Shea Butter Lotion was light and silky. A nice change from the heavier moisturizers I use during the colder months and it did a good job of moisturizing my skin--despite it being the middle of winter here. I also really loved the citrus scent from the blend of essential oils of lemon and grapefruit.
The Bora Bora Body Polish, an exfoliating scrub made from tiny grains of pumice, was also pretty nice. Ingredients such as avocado oil and a number of plant extracts such as cucumber, carrot, ginseng, and linden make it gentle enough to use on a daily basis and Bora Bora Body Polish would definitely be a good choice for exfoliating skin before using one of South Seas Skin Care's spray on body bronzers.
In addition to the affordability (a retail price of under $30.00) I liked that the packaging choices--box-free or recyclable--are eco-friendly as well.
