Softlips is a terrific eco-friendly lip balm. As you may know, Softlips has been around for a few years, but there are only two flavors of Softlips that are organically certified by Vermont Organic Farmers: Pure Honeydew and Pure Pomegranate. I preferred the honeydew by the way, but the pomegranate isn't bad either and I keep one in my purse and one next to my laptop.

This wonderful lip balm goes on smooth, and feels soft and satiny on the lips. It can be used under or over lipstick too. It's also long lasting, but like all lip balms should be reapplied after drinking or eating. The organic certification is a big plus for me, as is the fact that the ingredients do not include synthetic chemicals--only natural ingredients like coconut and olive oils, shea butter, and Vitamin E. Softlips is also packaged in recyclable materials.

The slim size (about half the diameter of a lipstick case) is great for tucking into a small evening bag or the pen pocket of my oversize pocketbook. Good stuff!
