Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturising Cream
No matter what Punxsutawney Phil says, in northern New England we are guaranteed at least several more months of winter, so what better way to spend my time than by testing out a delightfully scented wild rose moisturizing cream from KORRES, an Athens, Greece-based natural skincare company?
Before I get started I must confess that I absolutely adore Greek skincare products. I've tested products from several companies (see my review of SPONGE skincare) and found them to be wonderful, especially for dry or mature skin, and I was equally happy with the wild rose 24-Hour Moisturising Cream from KORRES natural products.
The wild rose moisturiser is formulated especially for normal to dry skin. Ingredients include wild rose oil a natural source of vitamin C known to diminish those fine lines known as wrinkles, grape seed, olive oil for hydration, an extract of the desert grass Imperata cylindrica, phytic acid for its skin brightening properties, and titanium dioxide for its SPF6 factor. What I really like, in addition to these terrific ingredients and divine yet subtle wild rose fragrance, is that it doesn't contain any petrochemicals, mineral oil, parabens, animal byproducts, or synthetic dyes. All of the packaging materials that KORRES uses are completely recyclable too.
The 24-hour moisturizing cream definitely lived up to its name as well--a tough mandate when the thermometer reads 10 degrees F and your face is exposed to harsh winter elements day after day. The cream was absorbed quickly when applied to my face and neck and left it feeling and looking hydrated and soft. And, because the cream is made from natural ingredients, it is safe enough for children as young as 6 months.
Made in Greece, KORRES 24-Hour Moisturising Cream is available online at the KORRES website.
